My ears caught chirping from outside, arousing me from a deep slumber. I slowly rose from my bed. I rubbed my hair. I had a little smile on me. I looked around. Despite the limited rays of light passing through the window curtains, I could still picture my surroundings. A few movie posters are displayed on the walls made of wooden planks. A small drawer table sits next to the bed, with a lamp and my phone placed on it. A larger table sits at the corner. On it are a laptop, a notebook, earphones, a few pieces of paper, a pencil case and a table lamp. On the floor lies a round white carpet. Through the gap between the curtain and the glass, I could see a sea of lush oak trees. I shifted to the edge of the bed and took in a huge breath, taking in the tranquility. I pushed myself out of bed. I proceeded to the door and pushed it open. I was introduced to an infinite circle of trees. I took it all in. I lowered myself down onto the soft soil, legs crossed, arms resting on my knees. I stared straight ahead. It was as if I was talking to the trees. I then looked up at the sky. My smile grew larger as I closed my eyes. Come back. Zach. Come back. But I have returned.
