I couldn't remember much, but I knew I messed up. For when my eyes started to pry open, I saw a rope.

Around me

For some reason, I remained seated. Body composed. But mind running. My head swung around. All I could see was a few rays of moonlight, illuminating the room I was in. Then to my left, I could spot something familiar.

In the silhouette of the night, I see a portrait.

Then I knew where I was.

My bedroom.

To break the silence I heard little vibrations on the floor. Footsteps. My eyelids flicker as I see what's in front of me. The door. Bordering it is a rectangle of orange light.

A shadow eclipsed the light on the ground as it grew larger in size. The doorknob rotates.

The door creaks open. A young man stands before me. The first thing that grabs my attention, is the knife held in his hands. I squinted at his face.

I had no reaction.

After a moment of silence, he finally speaks.

"Hello me."
